Thanks Kevin and Bali Girl. All this information has been really useful and I'll keep checking the project website to see if it's ever updated. I'll get my tour operator to contact the Sanur Beach Hotel but you're quite right - nice hotel, nice pool and friendly people make all the difference.
I'm sure we'll have a great time in Bali whatever.
