Would not be able to do anything in Indonesia re a cheque drawn on an Australian bank which bounced sky high. Our problem.
however if he ever comes back to Aust. he can be prosecuted for fraud. as in issuing a document which will not be honoured.
Probably not worth the cost.
My biggest regret is not noting the passport number. it was issued in Darwin and was current. Even as he walked away I was half way to my feet to catch him or watch him.
Just put it down to experience or NOT.
