Thank you ElsieKay. As we are from "not so sunny" england, I would prefer a beach with not too much surf but I know my boyfriend would say otherwise! I am happy as long as the beach is gorgeous. Kuta does not really appeal to us although we will of course pay a few visits. Romantic.......all the better for me! I would just like a lovely, relaxing holiday to remember. A resort with a few bars/restaurants would be nice as I've heard it's expensive to eat in the hotels and cheaper to eat out.
By the way, we are both 27.
