Hello! We are from England and taking our first holiday to Bali in May. I've just booked the Sanur Beach Hotel but received word yesterday that shore protection works are being carried out on the beach in Sanur at the moment (ongoing) and it is all loooking pretty ugly! I'm soooo disappointed as this was going to be a really good holiday for myself and my boyfriend.
Can anyone advise on this? Perhaps I should change our resort. We just want somewhere that's very relaxing with a gorgeous beach but also a few restaurants/bars to go to in the evening. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
