I never said anything about costs, money wasn't the issue,(last night i was asked if i knew how much the huts cost so i told the prices as in the brochure, i wasn't asked how much i paid!) it was the service we recieved on the island and our sad memories i was sharing on the forum, we was trying to put it behind us and relax and enjoy, and we sort of did do that, but unfortunetly short term the hurt over shadows, hopefully in long term that will ease.
"after all i was told by the Bali General manager to go right ahead!" when i told him i would post it on the forum!
I never complained about the staff on the boats,(We have some great memories)it was the staff on the island, that was the problem, and after all the 2nd in charge in Bali admitted that they were having a BIG problem with them!
Actually I ONLY SHARED OUR SAD EXPERIENCE in facts as it was, and as we saw it, and how we felt.
We were not telling people NOT DO IT! just sharing our experience!
I have not wanted to involve you Fatbastard, but obviously you felt the need to, sad i wished you had just left it to BHC, I felt you had no need to become involved, You told hubby you wouldn't become involved, now you have?
I did mention in my post, that i photocopied the coupon due to Jess's advice and it wouldn't photocopy it was too light, so i only went over the writing to make it darker, so it would photocopy, nothing was changed in anyway,not from us (if it has then we definitly didn't do it! one of the staff at the hotel watched me write over it to make it darker so it would copy!) i still have the photocopy here!
If anyone at BHC is dispappointed that it was on the forum, then they should blame Peter the General manager of Bali, after all i told him i would be finished after that and i would share my experience on the forum and he told me to go right ahead! so thats what i did!
I just wished people were able to share their experiences and not have all this crap that follows!
I don't regret sharing this experience on the Forum, As far as i am concerned The general manager made himself quiet clear on the night of the sunset cruise, very disappointing for Bali Hai as they had every chance to help heal the hurt we was feeling, rather than allow it to esculate bigger!
How much time should one give BHC to respond? After all i completed a coment card, + an extra page, wasted 1/2 hours chasing them returning their phone call, 2 hours in discusions the next day, not to mention the discussion the night of the sunset cruise that spoilt the atmosphere, then there was another opportunity when the next day i called to tell the GM i refused his offer of drinks...... no wonder i was angry....... Had this been professionally smoothed over, and maybe the offer of no charge for the children's return since their day was spoilt, then all this may never have happened!
Why on earth is everyone carrying this on? I have heard enough!
Gee is it worth people sharing their experiences, good or bad on this forum?
