Do you have. I think what Michelle meant is don't change Singapore dollars to $Us only o then change it to Rupiah. Take what you readily deal in, whether it be Sing$ or $US. The exchange rate is better there and cash is usually better and easier han travellers cheques.
Whatever you bring you need to change it to Rupiah. A few shops will take other currency but the rate is not good and some will try to rip you off.
Benoa is pretty small and not a party area. There are some shops and restaurants.
Personally I like Legian. it has everything and is just out of Kuta but close enough to walk. Depends what type of holiday you want.
