last week indicated that aircraft were being directed to ports where loadings were heaviest, mainly within Australia. It went on to say that they would be monitoring the situation and if demand was evident would re-instate services to ports affected by cutbacks.

So, in answer to your question, expect that "time will tell"....

The biggest quandry in which Airlines/Wholesalers selling Bali currently find themselves in is caused by the DFAT "Advisory" which still reads "defer un-necessary travel to Indonesia, including Bali".

If the advisory was relaxed (for Bali alone) to same level as, say Philippines where crime is rife and travellers are seriously at Brisk, then serious promotion could begin in an effort to "kick-start" Bali bookings.
