This is 3 kilometres east of Kusamba ( on way to candi dasa - eastern bali)
I did a day trip in april 2002 from Kuta - left about 830-9 am and returned about 2pm ( went as far east as Candi Dasa-stopped off at Kusamba and looked at the salt making villages, semarapura or klungkung). Had lunch at candidasa. Could have stopped off and looked at more of the sights but it was my last day in Bali.
At the bat caves/ temple I manged to see the albino bat - a real rarity ( spose to be albino snakes too but only saw a few very very fat rock pythons).
Theres seems to be a lot to see so if you can spare a day of it, hire a driver for the day and take longer.
