We have brushed aside our concerns are Bali Bound next week - managed to get seats with Garuda with only a weeks notice and this time we are taking up an option of a special pre Xmas rate at the Kumala Pantai - particularly pleased about this as we looked it over in June just prior to it opening and were very impressed however did not expect that our budget would be able to stretch to cover the projected rates that were then on offer. I have noted on the Forum that there are a few (particularly Hilly) interested in the KP and I will make a full report on it in mid Dec. (we are only going for 10-11 days). Another reason for this post is that we also have many friends among the Beach Sellers on the stretch from the Melasti and Puri Raja to the Jayakarta and the Puri Naga and if there are any Forumites concerned for the welfare (post Oct 12)of any of these people perhaps Daphne and I could look them up and pass on any messages which may help them in the short term as I am sure they will be suffering and it may help if they know you are thinking of them and may be seeing them again soon. We will pass on any messages you like to convey either by this medium or by my email.
To the vast majority of you all I expect it goes without saying but whatever you do don't give up on Bali!
As far and Daph and I are concerned the Bali Bug has no known antidote.
