I have decided to go to Bali in January I booked it a week before the bomb I was a bit apprehensive after. After some careful thought I've decided to go anyway I feel they could hit anywhere, nowhere is safe nowadays so there's no point running scared and letting them win.
Anyway I am going on the 25th January – 1st February staying at the Sheraton Nusa Indah @ Nusa Dua (got a really good deal on it). I have been looking back over the archives and they are brilliant I have made so many notes all ready (loved Filo's JBR's).
The main point of this post is when looking over the January / February 2002 archives I am getting a bit worried about the floods is it always like this during the this time of the year or was it just a freak? I know it's the rainy season but I was under the impression that it rained heavily for a couple of hours a day and it was sunny for the rest. I go on holiday to get away from the rain so I don't want to be washed out in Bali.
I would appreciate anyone's experience's in Bali during January or any other tips for Bali.
