If you take a few moments to read what the commentary actually says, rather than seeing what you think you want to see, you just might... and I underline the word might, see what it is actually saying. The closing paragraph states - almost verbatim - that in the context of what occurred in Bali on October 12, the issues of cost and accessibility pales into insignificance.
If you're STILL having difficulty understanding what that statement means, then let me put it another way... you're not old enough to be on this site.
The commentary then goes on to summarise the point by highlighting the fact that for the people of Bali, the road to recovery is long and most definitely uncertain.
The fact is, the fall-out from October 12 is far reaching. 180+ lives may have been lost on that day but the reality is, thousands of people's lives have now, suddenly, been changed. Forever. Think about that for a moment... perhaps a moment longer than you did to pass judgement on my original commentary.
The brutal objective of those who wage war and terrorism is to effect the maximum possible... not just the imemdiate victims and their bereaved. The cancellation of travel links to bali is merely another valid example of how the broader community is affected by their actions.
The thing that annoys me about you and your comment is that, regrettably, you chose to put an egocentric spin on my commentary; when in reality that is not what it is saying. Whilst you are pefectly entitled to offer your opinions, I personally found your one-line, politically correct response, lacking analytical maturity. In the meantime, if it makes you feel better, why not enjoy your feelings of intellectual superiority. Smoke and mirrors are a wonderful thing.
