Based on Government Regulation, every area in Indonesia has certain minimum wage need to pay for unskill labor.The wage will increase by the goverment each year,and will apply to all employee start in January.
In Bali for 2002 the minimum wage for 40 hours per week working is about Rp 400.000/ month, excluded other benefit such as work accident insurance, death insurance, pension, and medical care for an employee and families up to 3 children, which is paid by the employer.
If they work more than 40 hours per week. they will earn overtime payment.
In the employment role also there are other benefits such sick leave up to 12 months, if long term sickness with paid, maternity leave for 3 months with paid , miscarriage 1 1/2months with paid. The Employee also eligible of 13 time salaries per year.
For Skill employee salary will negotiable depend with the range of skill they have and also the work experience.
Below supevisory level the market of about Rp 750.000 to Rp 3M ( based salary only ).
For Manager position the market go about Rp 3 M to Rp 7 M.
