They are constructing a "T" shaped breakwater out into Sanur Bay about 800 meters south of the Besakih.
The work starts about 8am and finished about 5pm, except for one night it went on until about 8.30pm.
Not much to see or hear from the Besakih, and little or no disruption to the beach front, not that you would walk south much unless you want to go to the supermarket, and use the beach walk.
The walkway is in good order except for a 5 meter section, partially washed out, heading north from the Besakih about ½ way to the Sanur Beach Markets, but this is quite easily navigated.
