Just on two weeks for us until we leave, and we can't wait either. We've stayed at The Bounty a couple of times - great place for young Aussies in particular. In our earlier trips we used trav. cheques but now we just take cash - you get a better rate of exchange and don't have to pay fees on cash. But if you're worried that you might lose your cash or have it stolen, take the cheques. Enjoy your trip.
