checked out this place as a future place to stay. Cool but dark lobby, around a central open atrium. Nicely decorated in stone and muted colours (the hotel). The best part is on the roof- one of those infinity pools that sit on the edge of the building on the top floor overlooking the beach with seating around it (the best of both worlds really - the good view but much cleaner than the beach without the hawkers). On the opposite side of the roof area is also a nice cafe/ restaurant with good views. It appears to be a very nice hotel that i would have no hesitation to stay (great central location) although it would appear that some of the rooms lower down looking onto the atrium would be a lot darker than those facing outwards.
