Gaz the entire "naturopathy" thing requires almost the same blind fanatacism as does religion so it's completely understandable that you are so enthralled.

Sugar, if I remember high school chemistry, is C12H22O11. Those three elements in those quantities combine to make sugar, whether they are thrown together in a lab or are produced inside a plant, it's the same stuff and no human or machine can tell the difference.

If I go down the road to Galleria I can line up with the Japanese and Taiwanese tourists to buy "natural" Balinese sea salt @ about US$5 for 100g but I prefer to buy exactly the same chemical compound at the supermarket for a tenth of the price (or less).

Natural and manufactured has bugger all to do with it when it comes to chemical compounds, and when it comes to it that's all everything is.
