We stayed there in September last year and found the hotel was perfect for our needs. We had three deluxe poolview rooms (requested by email direct to hotel) on the ground floor.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were always quick to set up deck chairs in the pool area when not enough loungers were available for six of us.
We had dinner there one evening. The buffet was very tasty and included Indonesian and western style food - something for everyone.
I agree with Gwenda about the distance into Kuta. In the heat it was just a little too far to walk although we did do it on several occasions. But there were always transport guys out the front of the hotel ready to take you anywhere for a couple of dollars.
We like to try different places each time we go so can't say we'd go back but can highly recommend the place.
