Been here 4 days, flying by. Staying at Bali Rani, ground floor poolside. The hotel is quite nice and staff friendly. Bali Too have a great all you can eat breakfast for 12,500 R ($2.50) and had dinner tonight at Wayan 96. So cheap and quick, a very popular place, and good food. Jimbaran Bay was good for a romantic evening, watch the sunset and have your dinner on the beach by candlelight and you can see the planes coming and going. It was so beautiful and not too expensive.
Our driver that we have been using is a really nice guy called Ketut.He will take from 1 person to 6 (same cost for 6 as it is for 1) and he charges 300,000R for the day ($60 AD) He speaks really good English and is a great guy and would really recommend him. He will wait for you while you are in the shops and recommends the places to go without getting any commission. Today we went to a warehouse store called Makro (between Kuta and Denpasar) and that was fantastic. I saw someone recommend this place before on thisForum and he was right when he said, go early in your trip. You can go mad at the prices. Stock up.
