We stayed in Sanur two years ago but I certainly would not recommend you go there with teens. There is really nothing to do at night. We loved it and found it to be just what we wanted with the side trips into Kuta when we felt we needed a wake-up call!
My advice, stay in Tuban, it is not right slap bang in the middle of Kuta but near enough to either walk or take a short taxi ride to be in the thick of things. Your teens will love it, our 16 year old certainly did. Also they will find others of the same age to mix with in Tuban.
Mid range try Dynasty or cheaper Green Gardens.
I am sure others on the forum are better informed as to accom. than me.
