has an odd shape to give as much beach view as possible yet leave room for the restaurant (2 story, open air) and it is long enough for a swim. There is a small swim-up bar. Overall, the design is quite nice IMHO. There are 3 "villas" or suites (have forgotten which they called them) which are located at the beach ends of 2 long narrow buildings of rooms facing each other across a narrow walkway which runs perpendicular to the beach. You can't see the ocean from any rooms but those (more expensive, of course) suites at the beach end. I would want an upstairs room because the ground floor rooms have no privacy as they are just too close to the neighbors across the path. The upstairs rooms have tiny balconies looking across the walkway to the neighbors balcony but there is room for, perhaps, a chair (or 2?) and a (tiny) table. The Spa Silaom is lovely and has very expert treatments. You may e-mail me if you have more specific questions. I thought I ought to check the place out as I saw it being built last Oct. and began the first round of questions about it, here. I have room prices on a brochure, somewhere, but seem to recall that their web prices were better.
