Eugene, I have just been to the Ason at XMAS. Rooms are a good size, the staff are friendly, the pool is good, but get your spot around the pool organised early. We ate the the hotel most times and found the food to be of a good standard, although I have had better breakfasts. There are restuarants outside of the hotel, not much choice. We used the Free Shuttle to go to Nusa Dua (Galleria) there are plenty of restauarnts there (expensive though) then walked for about 5 minutes to Nusa Dua village and there are plenty of restauarnts in this location. Poco Loco (mexican) very nice.
