an inaugural trip to Bali on a new plane from Auck in 97 - some amazing deal like $499 return, plane absolutely packed of course, and word got around about the free drinkies..and you were allowed THREE at a time then go back for another three and another..we hadn't reached the coast of Aussie before there were people laying in the aisles ,lighting up cigarettes,joining the mile high club (in their seats!!) and misbehaving VERY badly...:-) All through the cabin crew remained calm and charming and kept on handing out those drinks...
