We stay on lembongan island in september, it was the best 4 nights i highly recommend it, our room at coconuts was fan cooled and i think this was enough we didnt feel the heat here like we do in kuta also our room only had roll down bamboo blinds and that let a gentle breeze in most of the time, we hire a boat on one of the mornings we where there and went over to nusa penida that was a eye opener as we seem to be the only tourist there, but i would not have missed the experiance for the world, when we landed on the beach we walked through the market and had a look around then we got a bemo up to another market and had a good look around that area, i think the locals didnt know what to make of us and they all keep laughing there heads off at my husband as he has no hair but a rather long beard, we have decided when we go back this time to only spend 1 night in kuta then stay for about 8 nights on lembongan, then back to kuta for 7 night to finish of our holiday, hopr this helps.....Barb
