Ask my 30yo friend if it is boring, a father of two, who has just had half his tongue removed, some of the floor of his mouth, part of his jaw and all his bottom teeth. His tongue was repaired from part of his arm. His arm was repaired from part of his leg. He will never have sensation back in the parts that were removed/replaced. There are also no guarantees. Not to mention the radiation treatment after the surgery.
Why you may ask?
Because of a cancerous ulcer in his mouth caused by smoking!
