Our family stayed there for 1 week last year and we will be there for a week again this year.
The resort is very nice but quite small. It is quite a distance away from any beaches and there is nothing of substance around the resort itself. You would have to hire a car to get to anywhere (Kuta etc etc) as you certainly couldn't walk. But 3-4 times a week they organise a bus to drive people into Kuta, Jimbaran Bay etc.
I would suggest that you look at the itinery for the bus trips and book first thing in the morning as it is on a first come first serve basis and the bus is not that big!
The food wasn't too expensive at the resort but the servings weren't that big. We ate there for dinner once but still felt it was worth driving in to Kuta etc in the late afternoon, having dinner somewhere different every night and then catching a cab back later that night.
Also, breakfasts aren't included in the tariff so we took some cereal etc and bought some supplies and put them in our bar fridge and ate our own. Much cheaper and just as nice!
The pool is quite large and the gym is good as well. The rooms are pleasant. Hope this helps
