I had BB on our recent trip, saw a local doctor who came to our hotel, gave me a jab in the arm and some tablets. Every time Rob got me to take my tablets within half an hour I was throwing up! We eventually realised that the medication was a bit too rough on the system, and when I stopped taking them I was a lot better!
One of our travel companions was also laid low and when she returned to Australia and saw her local doctor he suggested the medication was way too strong... she should have been having half the dose!
