Must admit it is niced to be thanked once in awhile to let you know that info supplied, was in fact helpful (but doubt that it is practical).Agree with Cracker that a forum full of 'thankyou' would be a bit over the top.
Forum used to be pretty much question and answer with some humour at times, and more informative/useful posts....no thanks were really necessary.
If email address is supplied people often send thanks this way.
