The Holiday Inn is even further from the night life, and a good long walk to boot. I've stayed at the Legian Beach Hotel which is very acceptable, and much more suitable for single people.It's almost right on the beach. The hotels in Tuban are all for families. There are quite a lot to choose from along the beach front in Kuta. I am old (45) but I don't think it's too noisy around there. You are central to everything. I've also stayed at the Legian Paradiso on Legian Street, it's very cheap but clean, and again, close to the nightclubs.
