as we also bought last year and like you were a bit worried after we had signed the dotted line but also got a solicitor who specialises in Indonesian law and said it was all above board and a good idea and he himself was interested but got hassled so much on the gold coast that he decided against it. The system itself he said works very well as long as you use it as you will get your money back in no time. We bought at the Peninsula Beach Resort ourselves and can't wait to go back and check out our investment next year where we will have 3 weeks for no cost at all. I have already booked it in and apparently our maintenance fees include return transfers to airport as well which we were not aware of until I booked. It is insured by Lloyds of London our solicitor said and if the resort goes broke we get back what we paid for it or can have it transferred to another resort so I guess we are pretty well covered. Now we have to sit back and keep planning these holidays which will cost peanuts.
