Hi Tina, we stayed at Hol Inn last year and with 3 kids found sourcing food down Jl Segara( the Rama hotel st) a little limited.There is now a new restaurant opp Hol Inn but have not heard good reports on it.Pantai yes and SA Cafe and Lotus Pond but we did have trouble pleasing people in our group over 14 days.It was too far- so the kids said! to get the family to walk in towards Kuta to other cafes and rest's.( eg All Stars) so consequently caught transport out for tea.This became a bit painful after a while and a couple of times we opted to eat dinner at the Hol Inn( a very expensive exercise).
Good luck deciding and yes Pantai was good but hey with ALL those places to eat in Kuta/Tuban and Legian why get stuck in 1 area?
I know where you're coming from when you say that you've got a tribe of kids to feed.In the humidity most of them really can't be bothered eating much, or bothered going looking for places to eat.
