In general Garuda has non-smoking flights, however on the intercontinental trajects a few rows are kept free for smokers in the back of the plane. So you can have a little walk and a smoke as well. The service is OK, the food is average.
I have flown several times with Garuda (from Amsterdam), tickets are cheap and all flight were reasonable on time (longest delay about 30 minutes).
