My wife and I stayed at the Bali Hyatt from March 2 to March 16 , 2001... just a few weeks ago. It is a slightly older hotel, but we loved it. More character, ambiance, etc. Our room was a normal room, about the same as every other Hyatt. The staff was great and I suggest staying in the Regency club for the convenience. The gardens are very beautiful and the pools are nice. You are conveniently located vs. Nusa Dua for activities. BUT if you want a wild night life this is NOT the place. My wife and I are 36 and 39, on a 10th anniversary trip so we were not looking for that. But if you want a nice hotel, decent beach, great staff, good pools and food, that is conveniently located to shops, Denpesar etc. this is the hotel for you.
