the quality of the water varies, sometimes it is clean (clear) other times, dirty (plastic bags etc). early morning is usually best, also that is when the surf is smaller and smoother...later in the day (when the tide is in), the surf can be messy. There are several patrolled sections. Note that the beach in front of Dynsaty has cement piers but you can go along (turn right leaving the hotel on the beach) to a better section - the patrolled area is past the art market. The beach great at sunset when its cooler, the tide is out, and everyone goes down to the beach for a stoll.
