We will be in Bali soon and I'm trying to plan our trip. Aside from obvious touristic things which one need to be on a tour, are there things that you can do by yourself without paying big bucks for essencially nothing.
I've been reading about some expensive walking tours, like the Ubud nature walk - or visit the tanah Lot temple - handicraft tour - village tour - Volcano tour, etc. They are big bucks and I'v heard some big disappointment from some people in the forum.
Any advise on what is not worth it and what is? What can we do on our own without an organized tour?
