I think it takes 5 hours from Sydney so Melbourne shouldnt be to much difference plus the time difference Bali is on the same time as Perth but look up your flight on Ansetts web and that will give you the exact time and also usually plane type plus seating getting a taxi should be fine but if you are worried phone the hotel to arrange one to pick you up. I will also be there on Nypei Day and am loooking forward to the festivites the day before on the day it will be very quite I hear but that will be our tenth day so look forward to the rest I hope this helps a bit but look in the archives if you want more about Nyepi it is very interesting
