Although we travelled on a package the accommodation worked out to be roughly A$1100 for 2 rooms for 9 nights. Whilst their we asked about a walk in rate if we stayed next time. The bookings manager gave us a quote of "starting price US$45 per room per night" as he could not undercut the wholesalers but he certainly encouraged us to start bargaining straight away. With this deal he provided free breakfast every day for the entira family plus private transfers to and from the airport plus late checkout. Not a bad deal. We met some Canadians who ended up with a walk in rate of US$30 per night in the cottage.
