I've flown many times between Bali and Yogya and and only delayed once because of mechanical problems with plane leaving Bali.
These days there isn't that many tourists going to Java and often plane was not full. Plane once took off from yogya right a peak of a violent thunderstorm a little scary but we arrived in Bali on time.
