to be honest i am travelling to Bali for the first time this year and wouldnt know the cost of MP3 players in Bali! I would probably buy from Australia anyway! Items of that sought i dont think are worth the risk incase of anything going wrong!

The one things i would guess is that you would be able to buy MP3 cd's! I would be very surprised if you couldnt! These would be basically the same as a normal cd, do not know how much they would cost, but generally you should get at least 5 albums on the one cd or you could download them yourself of the internet! Most of all the MP3 players have a facilty to connect them straight to the computer to download the songs that you wanted! It depends on the player you get but you might have to copy the cd to your compuetr and then transfer the files to your player!

With the portable MP3 Discman, you could copy the Mp3 of the internet but you would also need a CD Burner as the portable MP3 Discman actually reads MP3 cds!

The one thing i can tell you for sure though, is that MP3 files are not region coded! They are like a basic compuetr file! You could use a file you created in Australia and play it on a computer in Austria!

Cheers, i hope this helps!
