There is a tale about a Corpulent Kiwi Corporal who wanders the backwoods and uplands of Sulawesi Tengah.
One sweaty evening this gentleman arrived at a village athirst for his Bintang only to find that, after the first two, it was Bintangnya Haaaabis!After much scurrying and frantic hurrying, four more of the elegant drop were procured from next door to the sounds of a further Bintangnya Haaaaaabis!Still under-quaffed, the intrepid explorer prevailed upon the over-worked staff to rustle up what stock they couls from the remaining warung in the area : the three remining bottles were duly despatched by this gentleman who had swiftly become a legend in his own back-pack.
To this day, scouts are posted on certain mountain-tops in the area to signal the approach of this dreaded Bintangulator who, at one sitting, drank the local well of hospitality to its last dreg : Sembilan (9) Botol is what he consumed. Hence the Nom-De-Glug "SEMBOT".
