My comment, not meant to offend, was intended to point out that it is hard to work out where Indonesians are coming from. Their culture ,in the matter of communication, is gentle to the extent of being confusing to Westerners who tend to be direct. People over there tend to go to great lengths not to give a negative view in the interest of not disturbing the listener.
