Hello everyone, this is my first entry, and even though I have been to Bali many times, have just discovered*** The Forum *** and I am very glad I have.
I have been on a day trip on a very large modern catamaran called the Wakaluka (spelling!)which was fantastic. We had a day to remember finished off with - not Tequilla Sunrises - but Tequilla Sunsets -
a cocktail that seemed like nectar as we were heading into Benoa Harbour, after spending a most leasurly day on Lombongen island at the Wakaluka Resort, where we had a sumptuous barbecue lunch, with the best of everything. Absolutely delightful. We could have gone snorkelling or a number of activities, but as I remember it, we couldn,t rouse ourselves to partake of any. We lay around like ladies of leisure, having a drink ( or two) and had no trouble filling in the day.
I have also been on a yacht day trip ( the name escapes me ) which was not nearly so enjoyable.
However I do believe and I know all you forumites will know, that the Bali Hai has the fastest and most tourised trip, including a wonderful buffet lunch and innumerable water sports, and even entertainment on the way home.
We booked our trip from our Hotel.
Hope this has been helpful - darn it now you have got me wishing I was there!!
