I love Bali and despite all the friends that I have made over the years, I can certainly feel the tension here in Bali!
The Balinese may be friendly but its still part of Indonesia and you have many other people from Indonesia in Bali besides the Balinese.
The resentment is obvious and you can see them whispering in the corner about your nationality.
I think I'm going to fly off to Johor for a little while. At least Americans are welcomed in Malaysia.
