motorbikes are dangerous, but i think walking across the road is also dangerous. many tourists go home in a box from car accidents too. I also have ridden a bike all over indonesia and am still living today.(touchwood)
riding a bike in asia is very different from riding in australia, you just have to learn that the smaller the vechile the less prority you have. if we didn't do dangerous things and take risks the life would be bloody boring!
