Motorbikes in Bali can be great fun..and they can also be lethal. We have had lots of motorcycle experience (both at home and in Bali) and would recommend only EXPERIENCED riders hire them in Bali. It's one thing to deal with the 'different' traffic system, another to negotiate it on an unprotected vehicle you are not familiar with. Every year some western tourists go home in a box after motorcyling in Bali.
