Just back and the best rates are for cash $100 notes.
Exchange rate differences for Canadian US and Aussie Dollars were comparable to home so take Canadian.
Some money changes are thieves with nonother word to describe them.
Ask if thet have big notes. Otherwise you will find yourself with a pocket full of 10,000 rupiah notes you can't jump over. They are also harder to check.
Take your own calculator along as they have dodgy buttons at times.
Having said that, there are honest and reliable money changers.
Beware those offering a little above the normal and beware those with small notes.
