We're Canadians and returned from Bali in Dec. We took Can $TC US$ bills
our ATM cards, from CIBC and the Royal and Visa and MC. We ended up
using our ATM card all the time except for a few purchases at Mataharis and
the Studio on Visa. Our statements have come back since we've been home and we got a much better rate of exchange than the money changers. One day I wanted some smaller US bills so I took a 50 to a money changer down the road from the Risatta on the opposite side No10 and he changed it for me no prob.
I had heard of this man on the line before we left and I took the letter from here and left it with him. He's has a driver named Gooday ?, anyrate they seem like a honest bunch. Yes they do have a ATM at the airport, carry your own bags at the airport. Your probablly on the same package we went on,try for the 5 extra days in Singapore,at the Peninsula or Excelsior it s close to Raffles if not there taxis are cheap and you'll have a blast and Singapore is worth it.
